"Best Sports Bar in Oceanside, CA!" June, 2008 I have been going to ROOKIES for the last 5 years and I have enjoyed every trip.Their food is very good, the servers and the Boss-Man are very friendly, and the atmosphere is very consuming if you are a sports fanatic like myself. .....if you are on vacation and want some good food/drink with your sports fix, go check out ROOKIES and see for yourself what Oceanside has to offer. No disrespect to other bars in North County, but what keeps me coming back is the overall atmosphere. Everyone is there to simply have a good time. "A REAL SPORTS BAR!" April, 2007 A REAL SPORTS BAR: I have been looking for a sports bar that plays all sports not just football or what we get at home on basic cable. THIS PLACE HAS THE HOCKEY PACKAGE. Now, that's a sports bar! The bartenders are nice, quick, courteous. Food is great. You want to go to a real sports bar, THIS IS IT! YAHOO!
